This Analyst will play a key role within the Asset Management (AM) Marketing team, focusing on Alternatives Product Marketing and Wealth Alternatives.
The Analyst will partner with investment teams, Alternatives Capital Formation, and sales teams to develop campaigns, define product positioning, develop narratives, messaging strategy and product content. They will work across the AM Marketing team to support the infusion of product-related insights across content creation, digital marketing, paid media, social media, analytics and design to create end-to-end campaigns and programs in service of new product launches and the broader commercial objectives of the Alternatives business.
Position Responsibilities
1. Marketing implementation:Support the execution of strategic marketing plans to build awareness and affinity for AM’sAlternatives investment capabilities
2. Launches and campaigns:Support the development and implementation of marketing plans around new product/fund launcheswithin the Alternatives space, major announcements, tentpole events and client conferences. Partner with AM Marketing colleagues to deliver well thought-out, impactful and quantifiable product-specific marketing campaigns, leveraging a range of channels and tactics to maximize effectiveness.
3. Collateral:Create and develop product-specific marketing collateral (e-mails, presentations, premier publications, in partnership with AM’s design team
4. Product calendar:Map out a coordinated product-specific calendar that harmonizes with AM’s content calendar and sequences externally published content appropriately and effectivelyfor the Alternatives product suite.
5. Risk management:Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications
6. Team connectivity:Take an active role in the AM Marketing team, adopting a collaborative approach, sharing best practices, being involved in programs outside primary region as relevant, and contributing to the team's overall success.
7. Partnership and collaboration:Develop and maintain strong relationships within AM Marketing other AM Marketing colleagues.
Qualifications
8. 4+ years in a similar role within a similar leading financial institution
9. Some knowledge of the asset management industry: clients, products, regulations, competitorswith a specific focus on the Alternatives landscape
10. An understanding of all marketing media including digital, social and print collateral
11. Interest in investment views and markets with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling storyrelated to Alternative investments.
12. Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
13. Strong communication skills and ability to navigate complex organization
14. Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
