As a Social Worker with our UASC (Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children) team, you will be at the forefront of providing crucial support and care to children and young people seeking asylum without their families.
Main Responsibilities
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of the needs of unaccompanied minors
* Developing and implementing personalised care plans
* Advocating for the rights and welfare of the children
* Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies
* Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
* Conducting Age assessments (following training)
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified and registered as a Social Worker with post-qualifying experience
* Experienced in working with children and young people, preferably within the UASC or similar settings
* Empathetic, resilient, and culturally aware
* Able to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
* Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills
