An opportunity for a technically adept and commercially savvy Group Accountant to join an agile finance team at Group HQ in North Kent. You will play a pivotal role in consolidated group reporting, intercompany processing, audit coordination, and global finance transformation initiatives.

Description
This is a key role, reporting to the Group Finance Reporting Manager and supporting the wider Group Finance team including the Group CFO in delivering timely and accurate financial information. You'll be responsible for:
* Quarterly and monthly consolidation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
* Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany settlement processes
* Recharge overhead accounting
* Rollout training and global reporting system improvements
* Statutory audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
* Participation in treasury, FP&A, and business partner activities
* Enhancement of group finance processe
This is mush broader than a standard reporting and consolidation role.
Profile
A Successful Group Accountant Should Match The Following Requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-5 years PQE
* Hands‑on global consolidation experience (multi-entity, multi-currency environments)
* Solid grasp of IFRS or FRS 102 and strong intercompany accounting skills
* Be proficient in Excel and experienced with ERP/reporting tools (e.g., Tagetik, SAP, Oracle)
* Be an excellent communicator with a collaborative, solutions-driven mindset
* Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet demanding deadlines
* Able to work with multi-sites, multi-currencies and multi-time zones.
