Job Title: Deputy Care Manager (Nurse Qualified)

Salary: £23.00 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Nurse Deputy Care Manager to join a specialist service that provides a stimulating and supportive environment for younger adults living with a mental health diagnosis.
This is a role with real purpose. Whether building on existing senior experience or ready to take the next significant step, the successful candidate will be supported to grow, develop, and become a leader within a forward thinking healthcare team.
The position consists of 2 nursing shifts and 2 supernumerary shifts per week, including some weekends, offering the perfect balance of clinical leadership and hands on care.
About the Role
Working closely with the Home Manager, the Deputy Care Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Home Manager with operational oversight of the service
Leading and motivating the nursing team to deliver outstanding, person centered care
Acting as Clinical Lead, providing guidance and professional support to staff
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
Participating in staff supervision, training, and ongoing development
Conducting audits, reviewing care plans, and overseeing safe medication management
Promoting a positive, recovery focused culture for residents and their families
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a confident and compassionate nurse leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
Requirements include:
NMC Registered (RGN or RMN)
Previous experience in a senior nursing role
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centered care
