Work Schedules
We offer flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle:
* Full-time: 40 hours per week
* Part-time: 16 hours over a 2-day workweek
Important Note: New hires will participate in a five-day orientation (Monday-Friday) at our Philadelphia location, which includes no parking concerns and mileage reimbursement.
Your Role
As a Direct Support Professional / Residential Associate Clinician, you will play a vital role in guiding participants as they transition from residential services to a more independent lifestyle. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting initial and annual participant assessments to develop personalized recovery plans.
* Presenting at case conferences for assigned participants.
* Maintaining accurate case records for all assigned participants.
* Collaborating with community agencies and families to support the recovery process.
* Monitoring participants' mental health symptoms and ensuring timely interventions.
* Participating in staff planning, training, and administrative meetings.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
* Direct experience in mental health services, particularly in community-based settings.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
This role requires:
* Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and stoop, including direct intervention with participants.
* Frequent talking and listening.
* Ability to climb and descend stairs.
* Manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
* Capability to perform crisis intervention in emergency situations.
* Willingness to report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.
