KO2's client, an innovative company based in Nottingham, specialises in bespoke electronic devices and software solutions. They're seeking a talented Electronics Engineer with strong hardware design skills to help develop the next generation of advanced, high-performance instrumentation.
The Role
This is a hands-on electronics design position, ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking designs from initial concept through to prototype, validation, and production. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team-collaborating with embedded software, mechanical, and production engineers-to deliver cutting-edge electronic systems for real-world industrial applications.
The role is fully on-site in Nottingham, giving you access to extensive lab facilities, test equipment, and a collaborative technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, prototype, and simulate hardware to achieve high first-pass success rates on new designs.
2. Develop and manage complex electronic systems, including schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout (typically 2-8 layers, mixed-signal).
3. Work across a wide range of technologies, including MCU/MPU, RF systems, DC-DC and AC-DC power, analog sensors, digital logic, FPGAs, and memory devices.
