Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to offer flexible temporary opportunities for Delivery Van Drivers in Poole. 12-15 drops is the typical amount per day for this position.
Position: 3.5t Van Driver (Category B licence)
Days: Monday – Friday (Flexible)
Location: Poole
Pay Rate: £14.24 (daytime) – £16.31 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful Van Driver will have:
1. a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
2. experience in delivering using 3.5t commercial vehicles
3. physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
4. own reliable transport to travel to work
Responsibilities:
5. safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
6. load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
7. provide excellent customer service during deliveries
8. follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
9. maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
10. adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
