VACANCY: Arborist / Tree Surgeon
Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Due to continued growth and contract wins, we're expanding our arboricultural team.

The Role
You'll be delivering high-quality arboricultural works across commercial construction and infrastructure sites throughout Yorkshire and the North.
Your duties will include:
Climbing and aerial tree work
Tree felling, dismantling and pruning operations
Site clearances and vegetation management
Emergency call-outs and reactive works
Supporting detailed tree inspection projects
Ground-based arboricultural operations
You'll work alongside experienced machine operators and grounds teams, using modern techniques and industry-leading equipment to deliver safe, efficient results.

High-end chippers and arb-spec vehicles (3.5t–7.5t)
Diggers and Robo flails
Husqvarna & Stihl handheld equipment
Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs)
Remote-controlled stump grinders
You'll have the right tools to do the job safely and efficiently — every time.
The Person
We're looking for individuals who are:
Reliable, flexible and hard-working
Experienced in both ground and aerial tree work
Positive and proactive about Health & Safety
Team players who aren't afraid to get stuck in
Essential Qualifications:
NPTC Units: 201 (CS30), 202 (CS31), 206/306 (CS38), 308 (CS39)
Relevant climbing certification
Full UK Driving Licence (towing up to 3,500kg preferred)
Desirable:
CSCS Card
Towing experience
PTS (Personal Track Safety)
Highways Passport
NPORS 360 Excavator / Forestry machinery tickets
Experience on highways, rail or large commercial projects

Start time: 6:30am – 4:30pm
Starting salary: Circa £33,000 (dependent on experience)
Open to negotiation for the right candidate
Candidates must be able to commute daily to our Rotherham base. Transport to sites is provided from our fleet.
