Experienced Lead Practitioner – Social Care Direct – North London – (salary: £42,500- £49,370)

The successful candidate will work in partnership with adults, their families, carers, advocates, colleagues, and external organizations to provide appropriate, professional social work support for vulnerable older people, adults with physical and sensory impairments, learning disabilities, and their carers.

Responsibilities
Manage a small, complex caseload involving safeguarding and court work cases
Provide leadership and supervision, promoting high professional standards in social care practice
Conduct risk assessments in line with Mental Capacity Legislation and best practice
Chair safeguarding and multidisciplinary meetings as required
Embed safeguarding adults at risk principles and promote safety while maintaining individual choice
Support social workers and assessment officers through consultation and advice, fostering continuous service improvement and high standards
Requirements
Social Work degree or equivalent
SWE registration
At least 2 years of post-qualified experience in Adults Social Work
