Ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.This is a genuine career opportunity with strong earning potential and clear progression into senior engineering roles.What You'll Be Doing:Service and maintain overhead and gantry cranesElectrical & mechanical fault finding on 3-phase systemsRepair motors, controls, brakes, and safety systemsWork on pendant and radio control systemsInstall and commission crane equipment and upgradesCarry out LOLER inspections and safety checksRespond to breakdowns across industrial sitesComplete accurate service reportsOvertime & Pay StructurePaid travel time (home to site and return) at single timeOvertime before 08:00 & after 16:30: 1.5x Hourly Saturday: 1.5x HourlySunday: 2x HourlyWhat We're Looking For:Experienced crane, lifting equipment, or industrial electrical engineerStrong fault-finding ability (3-phase / control systems)Mechanical understanding of industrial equipmentConfident working independently in the fieldFull UK driving licenceStrong discipline, reliability, and attention to detailEx-military personnel strongly encouraged to applyDesirable Qualifications & ExperienceNVQ / City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of LOLER / PUWER regulationsExperience with PLC systems and fault diagnosisLEEA or equivalent lifting equipment certificationWhat's on Offer1-year-old vanOTE up to £65,000+Strong overtime structureClear progression into senior and specialist rolesLong-term stability in a specialist engineering sectorIf you're an experienced engineer looking for a high-responsibility role with strong pay, independence, and progression, this is a serious long-term opportunity.
