Shift – 3 Shift Pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am)
Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated, fast-paced manufacturing site. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large-scale production environment featuring one of the most advanced corrugation operations in Europe.
The successful engineer will be working within a high-speed production area, responsible for maintaining and improving machinery that produces up to 26,000 units per hour. This is a dynamic role offering a mix of planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and involvement in continuous improvement and project work.
You will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency across a range of automated machinery in a lean manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical fault finding on high-speed production machinery
Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
Working with systems including sensors, motors, drives, and control panels
Diagnosing faults across single-phase and three-phase (415V) systems
Working with AC/DC systems, inverters, and PLCs (Siemens)
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Using CMMS systems (Maximo)
Supporting installations, upgrades, and project work
Identifying root causes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Electrical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Hands-on electrical fault-finding experience
Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and proactive mindset
Desirable Requirements
Experience with Siemens PLCs (fault finding)
Background in high-speed or automated manufacturing
Continuous improvement experience
