Pre-Litigation Fee Earner (RTA) Location: Preston | Full-Time, Office Based Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 per annum (including bonus & incentives) About the Role A multi-national, modern law firm based in a prestigious business park in Preston is seeking a Pre-Litigation Fee Earner to join its established Road Traffic Accident (RTA) team. Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of RTA pre-litigation files from instruction to settlement Liaise with Credit Hire and Accident Management companies Handle claims in line with client protocols, CPR, and MOJ Portal procedures Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the claims process Ensure accurate file management using case management systems Deliver a high standard of client care and professional service Maintain strong organisation across a busy, high-volume caseload Requirements Essential Minimum 1 year experience as a Pre-Litigation Fee Earner (RTA) Proven experience handling RTA claimant files from start to finish Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) Experience using the MOJ Portal process Understanding of Credit Hire and/or Accident Management processes Strong IT skills, including MS Word, MS Outlook, and case management systems Excellent time management and organisational skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience using Proclaim or similar case management systems Previous experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume claimant environment Strong client communication and customer service experience Exposure to litigation or progression beyond pre-lit stage Interest in progressing into litigation or other legal departments What’s in it for you?
