3 Months Contract With Local Authority
Job Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a role that is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence, as you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods or personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
* Assist with loading and unloading items as required.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely service.
* Measuring, cutting, and fitting wood and sheet materials
* Installing and repairing - Doors, frames, locks, and handles Skirting boards, architraves, and stair components
* Kitchens, cabinets, and fitted furniture Building timber frameworks (stud walls, partitions) Flooring installation (laminate, hardwood, subfloors)
Requirements
* Possession of a full driver's license is mandatory.
* Proven experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
