Criminal Duty Solicitor / 3+ PQE / South Yorkshire / GBP 50,000 DOE. A well regarded firm is looking to appoint an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join its established criminal defence team. Please call Teagan on 320 and quote Job Ref: 2638.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage a varied criminal defence caseload, covering police station representation, Magistrates' Court advocacy and full trial preparation. You will handle matters independently from inception to conclusion and undertake Duty Solicitor responsibilities as part of the role. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team at a firm well known for its expertise and reputation in criminal defence.
The Candidate
Essential requirements: Duty Qualified with a minimum of 3 years\' PQE. You will have demonstrable experience managing your own caseload of criminal matters and conducting your own advocacy. You will have experience representing clients at both the Police Station and the Magistrates\' Court. You will be confident working independently, highly organised and committed to delivering high-quality representation to clients.
