At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. We’re looking for Bid Solutions Analysts to join our DSG Land business, supporting Through Life Equipment Support (TLES) and major bid activity across the organisation.
This is a pivotal role at the intersection of operations, commercial strategy, and bid delivery. You’ll help translate customer requirements into robust, deliverable solutions that balance cost, risk, capability, and operational reality.
The role
Working closely with subject‑matter experts across engineering, procurement, commercial, and delivery teams, you’ll shape operational responses to customer change requests and commercial enquiries. You’ll assess feasibility, define solution options, and ensure proposals are aligned with both customer needs and business strategy.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Develop and shape operational solutions to support bids, change requests, and commercial opportunities
2. Engage SMEs to assess requirements across people, skills, capacity, cost, and risk
3. Define solution options and clearly articulate assumptions, constraints, and impacts
4. Support bid teams by providing robust operational input aligned to commercial strategy
5. Identify risks and opportunities, ensuring solutions are deliverable and sustainable.
This is a full‑time, permanent role with hybrid working (typically 3 days per week onsite). The role can be based in Warminster (preferred) or Donnington.
Essential experience of the Bid Solutions Analyst:
6. Experience working in bid, commercial, financial, or solution‑shaping roles within a regulated environment
7. Strong organisational and coordination skills with a structured, analytical mindset
8. Confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels and pulling together complex inputs
9. Ability to balance operational reality with commercial.
