Malmesbury Dental is a new and exciting independent dental practice opening in April 2026. The practice has been purpose designed and will operate as a specialist referral centre, while also providing general dentistry, including routine check ups and hygienist appointments. Clinical standards are high across all areas of care.
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Dental Nurse to join the team from the outset and help establish a professional, well run and patient focused practice.
The Role
You will support clinicians across both specialist and general dentistry sessions.
Responsibilities will include:
* Chairside assistance for specialist referral and general dental procedures
* Supporting routine check-ups and hygienist session
* Maintaining excellent cross infection control and clinical governance standards
* Preparing and maintaining surgeries, equipment and materials
* Accurate clinical record keeping (using Dentally software)
* Assistance with CQC clinical audits, risk assessments and equipment testing
* Providing calm, professional support to patients throughout treatment
* Occasional work on reception and assistance with external communications (e.g. Patient reports and TLC calls after advanced treatments)
* Occasional assistance with CPD events held at the practice
About You
* GDC registered Dental Nurse
* Reliable, organised and clinically focused
* Comfortable working in a specialist referral environment with higher expectations and with patients who have advanced clinical needs
* Professional and confident communicator
* Willing to develop skills and grow with a new and expanding practice
* Experience with sedation, dental radiography, clinical photography and scanning is desirable but not essential.
Salary and Benefits
* £13.50 to £16.50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications
