Overview
My client is a well established IT solutions organisation based in Watford, Herts who are seeking an experience 2nd and 3rd Line Support Engineer to deal with customer issues. The role will include:
Responsibilities
* To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
* Provide telephone, remote and email support
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and peripheral technical issues to customer\s satisfaction via remote support
* Monitor and proactively resolve issues with remote back-up systems
* Visit customer sites when required
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues with any technical limitations
* Assist with support calls on the helpdesk
Essential experience
* Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (SBS/2012/2016/2019 Server/7/8/10)
* Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, RDS)
* Backup technologies including Veeam, Cloud Connect, Acronis, Backup Exec
* Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
