Join Our Team as a Catering Supervisor!
Are you passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service? We are looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells. This is a full-time position, contracted to 40 hours per week.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering truly incredible food experiences. Shift Patterns
Your shifts will be variable, and please note that this role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
* Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
* Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
* Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
* Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
* Support and train our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel in their roles.
* Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all teams.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Has a minimum of two years of catering experience.
* Has experience managing teams in a similar role.
* Holds a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
* Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Is an ambitious and motivated individual eager to upskill.
