Our client manufacturer precision engineering parts for the aerospace and power generation sector and due to growth, are looking for a Quality Engineering Team Leader on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have worked within a highly regulated industry, ideally aerospace or power generation with strong experience and knowledge of product quality.

Job Description
* Responsible for for leading a team of 5, providing clear direction, mentoring and day-to-day support.
* Participate in all key quality processes including Material Review Boards, scrap analysis, right-first-time initiatives, rework assessments, non-conformance reports, concessions, First Article Inspections and problem-solving.
* Point of contact for customer quality matters, ensuring that expectations are met and manage customer concerns.
* Drive root cause analysis, lead the implementation of corrective actions, and support audits and approvals.
* Ensure all quality documentation, systems and processes comply with internal standards and customer requirements. Maintain and improve control plans, inspection procedures, and quality records.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
* Proven experience working in a Senior Quality Engineer or Team Leader/Supervisor position
* Previously worked within the aerospace or power generation industry
* Strong experience and knowledge of product quality (NCR’s, problem-solving, root-cause analysis etc)
* Confident dealing with customers
