Position Overview:
Medscape Education is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative Senior Program Manager to lead complex medical education initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to drive the end-to-end management of educational programs, ensuring timely, on‑budget, and high-quality delivery of CME/medical education content. The ideal candidate is an organized, strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. This role will have a direct impact on the education of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a portfolio of medical education projects, ensuring compliance with CME industry standards and organizational objectives.
* Develop project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and oversee the critical path to ensure on‑time delivery.
* Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration among internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
* Identify and mitigate risks, offering creative solutions to overcome challenges and accelerate project timelines.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates and detailed reports to leadership.
* Serve as the escalation point for project issues, ensuring effective conflict resolution and timely decision‑making.
* Allocate resources, assign project timelines, and adjust workflows to accommodate unique project requirements.
* Support process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance project efficiency and reporting.
Qualifications:
* Bacheloru2019s degree required; PMI certification is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in project/program management; experience in healthcare, medical education, or CME is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated success managing complex, cross‑functional projects from initiation to completion.
* Strong leadership and team‑building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G‑Suite, project management platforms (e.g., Workfront), and web‑based collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint).
