The Role
Are you energetic, driven, and ready to inspire the next generation? Inspiring Choices is looking for a confident and motivated team player to join our team of Outreach Coordinators.
Inspiring Choices is a widening participation programme that offers impartial advice and guidance on the benefits and realities of all educational progression routes including doing an apprenticeship, going to college and/or university. It is part of a national programme called Uni Connect and is funded by the Office for Students.
Your Impact
As part of our outreach team, you'll work face-to-face with students across York and North Yorkshire. You'll plan and deliver exciting workshops, mentoring sessions, and events that open minds and raise aspirations. If you've ever wanted to lead, inspire, and make a real difference, this is your chance.
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be someone who:
* Is passionate about supporting young people
* Enjoys speaking to groups and getting others involved
* Has experience (formal or informal) leading activities or working with schools, colleges, or youth groups
* Works well in a team and builds strong relationships
* Brings energy, creativity, and a can-do attitude

Further Information
The post will be based at York St John University with opportunity for home working and there is a requirement to work on a flexible basis, including regular travel to locations within North Yorkshire and occasional evening/weekends.
It is anticipated the selection process will involve a presentation and panel interview. Further information will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
