Electrical Engineer - Tilehurst, Reading\n\nAre you a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a rewarding role with excellent earning potential and opportunities for growth?\n\nWe are seeking a highly competent and reliable Electrical Engineer to join our team in Tilehurst, Reading. You will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems within a range of commercial properties.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of electrical systems and equipment, including:\n\n* Lighting and power systems\n * Fire alarm systems\n * Access control systems\n * Small power systems\n * Fault finding and diagnostics\n\nCarry out repairs and installations of electrical components and systems\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (18th Edition essential)\nMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials used\nWork independently and as part of a team\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nA proven track record as an electrical maintenance engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience\nA strong understanding of health and safety regulations\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\nCity & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) - essential\n18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge - essential\nExperience with a range of electrical systems in commercial settings\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary of £42,000 per year\n37-hour work week, Monday to Friday\n25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays\nExcellent opportunities for training and progression\nOn-call rota (1 in 4) available for additional earnings\nContinuous training and development opportunitiesRandstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
