Responsible for the design and delivery of complex high-rise engineering projects, ensuring the safe, efficient and innovative use of climbing platform and protection systems.
* Work with PERI colleagues in the delivery of complex high-rise projects, managing the preparation of technical documentation for delivery, fabrication and assembly
* Prepare and present proposals to customers
* Support the preparation of offers with technical advice and guidance on both standard and non-standard system applications
* Create preliminary calculations to support projects during the offer phase and prepare cost calculations
* Prepare detailed structural calculations, “Proof of Stability” in accordance with UK codes and legislation
* Work with 3rd party Engineers to evaluate the system design and static proofs
* Design custom components and produce assembly and fabrication drawings for production

Stand out from the crowd - What distinguishes you
* University Degree (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), key areas: construction, steel construction, building operations, or similar education such as master craftsperson (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), or technician with sufficient experience and skills
* 3+ years practical/professional experience in designing climbing systems for high-rise buildings and / or other similar applications
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of and experience with CAD software
* Knowledge of and experience with RSTAB or similar software
