Our client is a flexible packaging company. They offer their customers fast and easy access to custom flexible packaging, with a mission to help small brands obtain big brand presence.
They are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative to support their customers throughout the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and succeeding within a face paced environment.
Previous experience of managing customer orders within Flexible packaging setting would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing customer jobs from order approval to finished product, including all front office and production aspects.
2. Responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.
3. Assists in estimating for customers
4. Creates and approves job tickets for the shop floor
5. Assists plant manager with any emergency problems
6. Communicates with customers on updates for projected timelines for projects
7. Manages trouble-shooting of emergency orders for customers
8. Participates in meetings with production staff and front office staff
9. Utilises Salesforce to manage communications with sales team, customers and management
10. Follows up on all customer transactions in a timely manner
11. Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
12. Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
13. Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.
Requirements:
14. Flexible packaging knowledge is preferred.
15. Knowledge of film substrates used in the industry is preferred but not a must.
16. Excellent customer service via phone, email and in person.
17. Pre-press and pre-press workflow knowledge a plus.
18. Knowledge of estimates and customer expectation a plus.
19. Excellent time management skills.
20. Basic IT structure knowledge.
21. Knowledge of a web to print order system a plus.
22. Must be deadline driven and have a sense of urgency.
23. Must be adaptable and flexible.
24. Must have a great customer focus and be action oriented.
25. Should have experience in Word, Excel and Google Suites.
26. Proven experience within a customer service-related field.
27. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
28. Computer data-entry experience.
