Role Overview
Join the advanced practice nursing team to support the gastrointestinal surgical team with the management of both elective and emergency surgical patients.
Responsibilities
* Support the gastrointestinal surgical team with the management of both elective and emergency surgical patients.
* Deliver services to acute and elective gastrointestinal surgical patients.
Qualifications
* Qualified Enhanced Care Practitioner or currently undertaking the ECP course.
* Experience with advanced practice or willingness to undertake the PG Cert ECP Apprenticeship course.
Working Hours & Band
Qualified ECPs are offered a Band 7 position at 30hrs per week. Trainee ECPs are welcomed and offered a full‑time (37.5hrs) Band 6 (tECP) post, with upgrade to Band 7 after completion of the course as per hospital policy, and subsequent reduction to 30hrs per week.
