Responsibilities
* Work within a diverse and highly skilled team providing Social Value advice to directly support the TRAM Framework and the Roads UK and IE Social Value portfolio.
* Support the establishment and delivery of innovative education and skills across infrastructure projects.
* Work directly with the Framework team and with other Social Value and Educational Skills Professionals in the WSP business.
* Provide day-to-day support in the coordination and management of Social Value – ensuring programme delivery to timescales and budget, inputting into regular progress reporting to the Framework Director, coordinating staff resourcing.
* Collaborate with our Head of Profession to support a wider Knowledge Exchange programme run through the Roads Expertise Leadership Group (ELG).
* Broadly understand and translate technical Engineering (and complementary) roles and concepts – working with technical roles and/or concepts to help pupils understand how they fit into the World of Work and what skills are required for their development.
* Plan and deliver Social Value events and initiatives – safety and wellbeing planning, logistics, sourcing and development of materials with support from the full range of Business Partners including HR, H&S and Finance.
* Support the roads business in coordinating its professional accreditations for conventional institutions such as ICE, IHE, IHT, NEC, APM, etc.; including mapping trainees to training support (such as SCE/DE type arrangements and formal and informal mentors). This will be across the UK and India.
* Support the ELG with Early Careers Professionals (ECP) programmes and events as part of the Roads ECP Programme.
* Work most closely with our Belfast and Dublin (Naas Office) locations and also with our wider UK and India team members.
* Operate within the TRAM Framework Team (DFI Framework), which will be the primary working framework.
* Your home office will be the office closest to where you reside.
WSP works with a wide range of public sector clients to deliver significant infrastructure improvements that contribute to a sustainable transport network meeting local and national government objectives.
The Roads business has nearly 900 staff, approximately 250 of these are based in our India offices.
