Fixed Senior Clinical Pharmacist/Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, Band 7/8a

Role
Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Band 8a or Fixed Senior Clinical Pharmacist Band 7, depending on experience. An exciting opportunity to join a well established and multi-award winning surgery and orthopaedic clinical pharmacy team at Ninewells Hospital. You will develop your clinical skills and knowledge to practice at an advanced level across settings including General, Vascular and Urology surgery, the Acute Surgical Receiving Unit, Orthopaedics, Critical Care and Theatre Admission Suite. The role supports development across clinical practice, education, leadership and research, with potential to work in critical care, surgical and orthopaedic frailty teams. Some prior experience is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
* Be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical practice across diverse surgical settings.
* Develop and enhance skills across all pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, education, leadership and research.
* Contribute to on-call, weekend and public holiday rotas as per service requirements.
* Support and collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.
* Engage in further knowledge expansion in areas such as critical care, surgical and orthopaedic frailty teams.
Qualifications
* Be a registered Independent Prescriber or working towards the qualification.
* Be working towards advanced practice or have experience to an equivalent level.
* Hours of work: 37.5 hours over a 7 day week; part-time applications will be considered.
