This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to take on a challenging role in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, legality, and compliance with BRC standards across a product range.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of BRC certification.
* Develop and manage robust HACCP systems across manufacturing sites and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Own quality control processes, ensuring product safety, quality, and consistency throughout manufacturing and supply chain operations.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities to assure adherence to company and BRC standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical and quality processes, managing relationships with internal teams and external suppliers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the company's growth.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Technical or Quality Management role within food manufacturing, with proven expertise in maintaining BRC certification.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and quality management systems.
* Previous experience in supplier management, auditing, and complaint resolution.
* Experience with dairy, beverages, or plant-based products beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of effectively collaborating at all organizational levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
