Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a background in cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design.
We are seeking a problem solver who enjoys challenges and works well in a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products or displays.

Candidates should have experience with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. The role involves balancing creativity and practicality to develop innovative, eye-catching displays that are cost-effective and compliant with brand and retailer guidelines. Collaboration with a diverse team of designers, engineers, and project managers is essential.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes and optimizing for value engineering and efficiency.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Working on a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex displays and event sites.
* Thriving in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
* Pushing boundaries and challenging conventions in design.
