Relevant experience in care and support of individuals (including voluntary experience and personal experiences, as well as paid work), in the public, private, or voluntary sectors caring for adults, especially those with learning disabilities, is essential. You should have awareness of the needs of people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, autism, epilepsy, and other disabilities.
