37.5 hours per week (Shift rotation covering Mon–Fri 8am–8pm, Sat–Sun 9am–6pm)
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Contact Centre team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers with personal loan accounts, handling inbound calls and delivering exceptional service.
You'll work on-site at our Newcastle Contact Centre, with a 6-week rotating shift schedule provided in advance to support work-life balance. Bank Holidays are not worked as the site is closed.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle inbound calls from personal loan account holders with professionalism and empathy
* Ensure accurate and secure management of customer data in line with GDPR
* Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences
* Strive for first-time resolution and positive outcomes for every customer interaction
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
* Adhere to established processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment
* Meet performance targets including Average Handling Time and other KPIs
Experience & Skills Required
Essential:
* Previous experience in a Call Centre or Contact Centre environment
* Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people
Desirable:
* Experience in financial services or personal loans
* Familiarity with customer records management systems
