Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a reliable and experienced Financial Accountant to work for a company in Abingdon on a Temporary basis until May 2026.

Role: Temporary Financial Accountant
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 Per Annum
Location: Abingdon (Parking Available)
Hours: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
4. Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Financial Accountant you will be at the centre of our companies’ activities, facilitating the smooth running of the UK and USA Accounts systems.
5. Your duties will cover both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities and extend to assisting with monthly management accounts, payroll and credit control.
6. You should be qualified to AAT and ideally working your way to Professional Accounting qualifications.
About you:
7. Min 2-3 years of financial / bookkeeping experience
8. Qualified Accountant, AAT as a minimum
9. Knowledge of Accounting Software - preferably Xero
10. Exceptional interpersonal / Customer service skills
11. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)
12. Experience (or willing to learn) of Payroll systems
13. Attention to detail, ability to follow processes and procedures
14. Able to work without supervision with a positive can-do attitude
