Support Worker
Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is inviting applications for a Support Worker in Groeslon, Gwynedd. This role involves providing day‑to‑day support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them make choices and develop skills.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary:£12.74 per hour; sleep‑in shifts at £60 per night; travel expenses at 45p per mile. Hours: Part‑time, 21 hours per week with weekend and sleep‑in shifts available. Contract: Permanent.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role involves actively supporting three individuals in making their own choices and setting goals, from everyday decisions to major life choices. You will empower them to follow through on these choices, support them in structured activities, help with responsibilities such as paying bills, maintaining homes, and staying connected. The role includes personal care responsibilities and aims to make everyday remarkable through well‑being focus.
Who We’re Looking For

* Advocacy skills to speak on behalf of others to professionals
* Good written communication and ability to record events with empathy
* Full driving licence (essential)
* Welsh language skills (preferred)
