Cleaning Operative
We are looking for a cleaner who can deliver excellent service standards while working within a large cleaning department to carry out a variety of daily duties to ensure the centre is always kept Presentable while delivering great Customer Service.
The role and responsibilities are to clean and maintain the toilets and complete required tasks on the malls accordingly to the shift pattern.
Working as part of a team that covers alternative weekend work:
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Hours: 16 hours per week
Shift: Saturdays & Sundays (Early Shifts: 09:00 – 17:30, Late Shifts: 12:30 – 21:00)
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
Location: Trinity Leeds, Albion Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, LS15AT
Main Duties to include:
1. Clean All toilets facilities and maintain to a high standard throughout your shift
2. Clean & maintain the malls to a high standard throughout your shift
3. Remove waste from the mall bins and place in the correct waste streams
4. Maintaining the entrances
5. Being reactive to spillages and hazardous waste
6. Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent Customer Service
7. Operating various cleaning equipment, ensuring equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order
What we are looking for
8. A competent and reliable individual who is willing to comply with the company's Health and Safety procedure
9. Ability to communicate and read basic English
10. To carry out all duties effectively and efficiently with accordance with agreed SLA's and follow cleaning schedules
11. Have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.
12. Have a full working knowledge of the cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises and to attend all necessary training in line with COSHH
13. To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation, and premises policies
14. To wear protective clothing (PPE) as issued
15. Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as appropriate as instructed by the Cleaning Team Leader
16. Good Customer Service skills to deliver outstanding service while, sharing all knowledge of the centre's services in the shopping centre.
17. Team Player who is reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
