Pay: GBP 12.21 per hour base + GBP 3.00 per hour unsocial hours enhancement (11pm–6am)

Location: Springfield Farm, A59 near Menwith Hill (7 km outside Harrogate)
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 00:00–08:00

About Us
Bakeri Baltzersen is the wholesale and retail bakery arm of Baltzersens. Based at Springfield Farm, we produce a variety of long-fermented sourdough loaves, rye, ciabatta, and traditional white and granary breads. We also craft our pastry and viennoiserie entirely from scratch, with a focus on quality, consistency and care.
About The Role
We are now looking for a dependable, detail-driven person to join us as a Delivery Driver / Packer.
You will be one of the vital links between our bakery and our customers, the person who ensures that our bread and pastries arrive fresh, perfectly packed and on time each morning.
This is a hands-on role where no two nights are quite the same. One moment you will be carefully packing loaves and pastries straight from the ovens; the next, you will be loading up your van and heading off on delivery routes to Leeds, York, Wakefield or Manchester.

Responsibilities
* Identifying and packing bakery products according to daily orders
* Labeling items accurately and efficiently
* Loading your delivery van with care to ensure goods arrive in perfect condition
* Delivering to our partners across Leeds, York, Manchester and Wakefield
* Handling keys and maintaining correct security procedures
* Carrying out additional tasks as required by the Bakery Manager
The ideal candidate
* Previous experience in packing or a similar hands-on role
* Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)
* Minimum of 10 years driving experience (including van driving)
* Confident using smartphones and basic apps for work purposes
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Dependable, punctual and able to manage early starts
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Your own transport to reach the bakery (public transport is not available at shift times)
