We are currently looking for an experienced Support Worker looking for a career with an award winning charity.
We are based in Widnes with a nice town centre nearby. The role involves supporting people with autism and learning disabilities, and our team have specialist training to support them as part of our commitment to Best Lives Possible.
Responsibilities
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
* Work flexible hours, including shifts starting as early as 7am and finishing as late as 10:30pm; there is also a Sleep-In shift
* Provide care and support in line with company values: We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable
* Support individuals with diverse needs, including visual and hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities
* Participate in training and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and deliver high-quality care
* Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe, supportive environment
Who you will be supporting
* People aged roughly 46 to 66 in our Widnes home or local community
* Most are mobile, with some requiring assistance in outings or daily activities
* We support individuals with a range of needs, including visual/hearing impairment, autism and learning disabilities
* Our staff are trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs
