MadiganGill are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a client based in Midsomer Norton on a permanent basis starting ASAP.
Previous experience within a Groundworks based role is desirable.
Salary: - Negotiable dependant upon experience
As a key member of the team the successful applicant will be Assisting Senior members of the team with tasks such as the following:-
* Liaising with the client to identify their needs.
* Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour.
* Submitting regular budget reports.
* Preparing tender and contract documents.
* Assigning work to subcontractors.
* Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments.
* Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards.
* Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour and helping site to stay within their budgets.
* Ensuring that clients get value for their money.
* Submitting regular budget reports.
* Following building regulations and health and safety.
* Evaluate contracts upon receipt of tender.
Salary Range:- 55,000 - 70,000
Payment options include CIS.
