Audit Senior – Top 100 Firm – Manchester

We’re working in partnership with a well‑established and highly respected Top 100 accountancy practice, to recruit an ambitious Audit Senior for their Manchester office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm known for its supportive culture, strong progression pathways, and exposure to a diverse client portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Planning, leading, and completing audit assignments from start to finish
* Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
* Preparing financial statements for a range of clients
* Supporting managers and acting as a key point of contact for clients
* Contributing to ad‑hoc assignments and cross‑office projects
* (Optional) Supporting corporation tax work
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA Qualified
* Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
* Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
* ACA / ACCA qualified (or close to qualifying)
* At least 2 years’ experience in audit within practice
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
* Solid technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Experience with software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or CCH (desirable, not essential)
* A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to develop
