Overview
Police Constable – Cambridgeshire Transferee. This is a transferee campaign for a permanent, full-time role within Local Policing Command in Cambridgeshire. The force is focused on responding to a broad range of incidents and maintaining a high standard of service to the community.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary values local partnership working and aims to deploy officers where impact is greatest, with a North/South operating model and dedicated hubs for proactive policing and response across Peterborough, Cambridge, Wisbech, March, Ely, Huntingdon and Cambourne.
Responsibilities
* Be one of the first responders on scene, making critical decisions under pressure and providing immediate support to victims and communities.
* Engage positively with the community, manage incident-related risks, and contribute to reducing threat, risk and harm.
* Operate within the force’s response policing framework and support the delivery of a safe and effective policing service.
Qualifications and requirements
* Completed probation period in a Home Office force and experience in Response Policing.
* Demonstrated ethos of protecting the vulnerable and a commitment to keeping the community safe.
* There is an expectation to remain in role for 12 months following appointment.

* Police Support Unit (PSU) accreditation may be requested if attained.
