Package Description
Are you ready to take the lead and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work across our supported living services in Sileby and Loughborough, delivering and overseeing high-quality support for eight individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs.
In this role, you’ll support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes, promoting choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life. You’ll play a key role in ensuring each person receives tailored, person‑centred support that reflects their goals, preferences, and aspirations.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you’ll divide your time between hands‑on support and leadership or administrative responsibilities. You’ll help coordinate support across both services, guide and mentor staff teams, and ensure services run smoothly, safely, and in line with best practice and regulatory standards. This is a varied and rewarding role where you can have a direct and lasting impact.
About the people you’ll be supporting
You’ll support eight individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs. Each person has their own unique personality, communication style, routines, and level of independence. Some enjoy being active in their local community, attending activities, or building social connections, while others prefer quieter, structured, home‑based routines.
Your role is to enable each person to live the life they choose—supporting them with daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, and decision‑making, while promoting independence wherever possible. You’ll use a person‑centred and proactive approach, including positive behaviour support where appropriate, to ensure individuals feel safe, understood, and valued in their own homes.
You’ll also work closely with families, carers, and external professionals to provide consistent, high‑quality support, ensuring that each person’s needs are met in a holistic and respectful way.
Where you’ll be working
This full‑time role is based across our supported living services in Sileby and Loughborough. You’ll combine shift‑based support with dedicated time for leadership and administrative duties. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll work across both locations to support teams, maintain high standards, and ensure continuity of care for the people we support.
