Role Overview:
Are you passionate about delivering top-notch hospitality experiences? Mary Mount Hotel are looking for a dedicated General assistant to join our team. This is a multi-faceted role where you will contribute to both our restaurant and housekeeping operations, ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. Live-in available.
Duties:
* Restaurant Support: Assist with serving guests, setting up and clearing tables, taking orders, and ensuring the dining area is clean and well-presented. Provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the guest experience.
* Breakfast Service: Assist with setting up and serving breakfast, ensuring guests have a great start to their day. Work as a team to clear and clean the restaurant, wash dishes, and tidy the kitchen in preparation for lunch service.
* Evening Shifts: Set tables, serve meals, and assist with plating desserts. Wash pots and help close down the kitchen, ensuring everything is ready for the next day.
* Housekeeping: Help with daily room cleaning, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards are met at all times.
* Customer Service Excellence: Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, respond to inquiries or special requests courteously and promptly, and resolve any issues or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction.
* General Assistance: Assist with various tasks across the hotel as needed, such as responding to guest requests, handling laundry, and keeping common areas tidy.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Strong customer service orientation, with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
