Reception Teaching Assistant - Lancaster

Veritas Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Lancaster seeking a committed Reception Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from Tuesday 2nd September.
This is a long-term opportunity, running Monday to Thursday, with working hours from 07:45 to 15:20 each day. The role includes breakfast club responsibilities before the start of the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting pupils in a Reception class, assisting with learning activities across the EYFS curriculum
* Helping to set up engaging, age-appropriate classroom and outdoor learning environments
* Supervising and engaging pupils during breakfast club
* Working closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support to individual learners
* Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children's social development
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working within EYFS or with young children in a school/nursery setting
* A calm, nurturing and proactive approach
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 TA/EYFS preferred but not essential with the right experience)
* Ability to commit to the role until at least October half term
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
