The Role
As Project Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of project and trade sales across the West Midlands and South West UK.
You’ll work closely with main contractors (primary focus), architects, and end users, managing projects from specification through to order, ensuring the right products are specified and secured.
This is a consultative, relationship driven role covering a defined and established territory with strong project potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow project and trade sales across the West Midlands & South West
* Develop relationships with main contractors, architects and end users
* Proactively secure specifications on commercial and industrial projects
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
* Grow and protect existing key accounts
* Track, manage and chase quotations to maximise conversion rates
* Maintain market and competitor awareness
* Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports and weekly call plans
* Represent the business professionally at meetings, exhibitions and trade events
* Attend training and development sessions as required
About You
You’ll be a motivated, credible sales professional who is comfortable managing a large regional territory and dealing with senior decision makers in the construction and building products sector.
You’ll ideally have:
* Experience selling building products into the contractor or project market
* Confidence dealing with main contractors and commercial stakeholders
* A consultative, specification led sales approach
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* The ability to manage your time effectively across a wide geographic area
Product knowledge is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.
