Due to continued growth and several exciting project wins, they are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Bristol-based team.
The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of retail projects from tender through to completion. Working closely with senior commercial leads, you will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in preparing cost plans, valuations, and financial reports.
* Supporting subcontractor procurement, tender analysis, and contract administration.
* Monitoring project costs, variations, and budgets to ensure profitability.
* Liaising with site teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.
* Helping to ensure compliance with commercial and contractual procedures.

The Person
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-performing business.
You will bring:
* A degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Some experience in a commercial role (placement or post-graduate) within construction or fit-out.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* A positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
