Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1 or B2)
Location: Stansted Airport, CM24
Salary: £65k Competitive + Overtime

We are recruiting for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1 or B2) to join a leading aviation maintenance provider based at Stansted. This is a key role responsible for managing aircraft maintenance inputs while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
This position suits an experienced, hands-on engineer who can lead from the front and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced Part 145 environment.
The Role
* Manage day-to-day aircraft maintenance inputs and projects
* Certify maintenance in line with licence privileges
* Lead and coordinate a team of engineers across base, line, and AOG support
* Ensure all work is completed to strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards
* Act as the main point of contact for customers and aircraft representatives
* Monitor project progress, reporting daily to senior management
* Coordinate with hangar teams, support services, and third-party providers
* Authorise repairs and high-value parts where required
* Drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations
What We’re Looking For
* Full unrestricted UK CAA B1 or B2 Licence (B2 must include electrical privileges)
* ‘A’ and ‘C’ approvals
* Recognised apprenticeship
* Strong leadership and team management experience
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proven experience working within a Part 145 environment
