About the role: The Head of Quality & Standards will act as a role model for all staff; they will demonstrate excellent communication and administration skills and have an outstanding knowledge of quality assurance and compliance. Reporting to the Vice Principal for Quality, Standards & Learner Experience, the post holder will manage and coordinate the quality assurance and enhancement processes, ensuring continuous and measurable improvement in learner outcomes, retention, and achievement rates. To fulfil the role you will have: Lead on the implementation of the quality assurance strategy and continuous improvement across all provision types (Study Programmes, Apprenticeships and Adults) to ensure sustained excellence and high performance. Act as a champion for the highest professional standards, embedding a culture of high aspirations and a shared commitment to exceptional learner experiences and outcomes Develop and embed a robust internal quality and review cycle to monitor the quality of provision and identify strengths and areas for development to inform and drive quality improvements. Maintain oversight of all cross-college policies; chairing policy review meetings to ensure compliance with the latest sector regulations and internal standards. Facilitate and deliver cross-college training sessions and workshops to share best practices in Quality Assurance, assessment, and internal verification across all departments Lead the college-wide process for checking and authorising achievement claims; ensuring the Quality & Standards team rigorously validates all evidence before submission to the Exams team to ensure data accuracy and funding compliance.
