Senior Electrical Engineer to support their Corporate Functions team.This is a critical Authorising Engineer role within aplex defence estate and will suit a technically strong electrical professional who isfortable operating at a national level, providing assurance, leadership andpliance across multiple sites.The roleAs Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and assurance across electrical systems, ensuring fullpliance with JSP375 and Safe Systems of Work. Working closely with Authorised Persons, operational teams and client stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining safety, performance andernance across the estate.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Acting as Authorising Engineer for electrical systems across a national portfolio
2. Providing technical guidance and oversight to Authorised Persons
3. Conducting site inspections, audits and risk assessments
4. Issuing audit reports and managing action plans
5. Supporting investigations into incidents and permit to work activities
6. Advising on JSP375pliance for new works, projects and asset modifications
7. Providing technical input intomissioning and major project delivery
What we are looking forThis role has strictpliance requirements. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
8. Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer status is essential.
9. Strong electrical bias with experience inplex or high risk environments
10. In depth knowledge of JSP375 and Safe Systems of Work
11. Experience operating in a technical assurance or authorising role
12. Willingness to travel nationally as required
13. Full UK driving licence
