Senior Platform Engineer – £100,000 + Benefits (Remote) - No Sponsorship provided - CDK Experience Needed
We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to contribute technical expertise and support the development and evolution of our cloud infrastructure within a rapidly growing SaaS scale-up. Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design, deployment, and management of AWS infrastructure for our SaaS platform
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript
* Assist in ensuring the security, scalability, and cost optimisation of cloud environments
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align platform development priorities
* Support the implementation of observability strategies, including monitoring, logging, and alerting
* Help design and improve CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployment workflows
Key Requirements
* Proven experience working with AWS infrastructure in a SaaS or scale-up environment
* Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript for infrastructure-as-code
* Strong understanding of modern DevOps tooling, observability stacks, and containerisation
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and cloud security best practices
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
Security Clearance Requirement
Applicants must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. This typically means:
* Lived in the UK continuously for 5+ years
* Hold the right to work in the UK or come from a NATO-friendly country
