IT Security Delivery Lead
About the role
The following role is a 6 month contract engagement INSIDE IR35.
We are seeking a Security Delivery Lead to support a geographically diverse cybersecurity team within an enterprise manufacturing organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering security projects, providing internal advisory across business functions, and leading incident response efforts.
You will work closely with a senior security leader to strengthen the European region's capabilities. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is technically adept, and has broad experience across multiple areas of cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and deliver security initiatives across a varied technology landscape
2. Provide internal security advisory across business units, not limited to security-specific projects
3. Manage incident response activities within the EU region, coordinating with global stakeholders
4. Support and mentor a distributed team across multiple time zones
5. Drive improvements in security technologies and operational processes
6. Collaborate with leadership to shape and mature the security function
Ideal Candidate
7. Based in the EU time zone with flexibility to collaborate globally
8. Broad experience as a security generalist across operations, governance, risk and compliance, and technical domains
9. Strong technical skills with the ability to lead and challenge effectively
10. Experience working in smaller security teams with wide-ranging responsibilities
11. Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
12. Structured, pragmatic, and able to prioritise effectively
13. A team player with leadership qualities and excellent communication skills
