Engineering Maintenance Manager Based in Cartlton, Barnsley, S71 3HF - The Home of Mr Kipling Salary - From £65,000 to £67,000 per annum Permanent - Full Time Shifts Available from Monday to Friday (08:30am - 17:00pm) Close Date: Friday 20th June 2025 A full time, permanent oppurtunity has become available at our Barnsley site for Production Planner to join the team. The successful candidate will work as part of the Engineering team responsible for the implementation & execution of the site maintenance strategy. Direct Management of Engineering Team Managers & Engineering shift teams. Develop & embed maintenance processes that yield sustained improvements to meet the site and business objectives. The successful candidate will: Ensure compliance in areas of responsibility with all statutory and company regulations regarding health and safety and safe working practice, security, Food safety & quality. Develop a strong and effective cross functional links to maximise long term asset development. Establish & Reporting of key Maintenance KBI's (PPM, Corrective Actions, Cost, Engineering Stores) Control Maintenance spend in line with company objectives. Working along side the Reliability Manager to Implement and execute the sites Maintenance Strategy. Engagement of key stake holders at all levels of the business in supporting the sites Maintenance Strategy and ensuring the policies & processes are adhered to. To achieve set objectives through management of direct and indirect teams. Ensure good employee relations through sound management, motivation and development of Engineering Team Managers & engineering team members. Utilise technical abilities and systems knowledge to achieve high plant efficiency and improve plant through continuous improvement initiatives. Accountable for producing and managing a cost effective maintenance revenue budget that delivers optimum value site wide. Control and manage external contract support. What skills you will need: Engineering degree, or equivalent 3 years experience in similar role.
